Weaker sales affects Coca-Cola

BBC NEWS | Business | Weaker sales affects Coca-Cola

"The world's largest soft drink maker earned $935m (£511m) in the third quarter, down from $1.2bn in the same period in 2003.

Sales in the three months to 30 September was flat at $5.67bn.

Coca-Cola issued a profits warning in September blaming "challenging operating conditions in key markets".

The company had said earnings were affected by cold and wet weather in northern Europe during the summer months."
